KK DIES AT THE AGE OF 53 IN KOLKATA.
Popular Bollywood singer Krishnakumar Kunnath aka KK died while performing live in Kolkata on Tuesday.
He was performing a live show concert and reportedly breathed his last at Nazrul Mancha in Kolkata.
The singer reportedly fell unwell while performing at a concert at Nazrul Manch in Kolkata. He returned to his hotel in Esplanade and collapsed.
He was rushed to Calcutta Medical Research Institute (CMRI) at around 10:30pm, where doctors declared him brought dead.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi took to Twitter to offer condolences. "Saddened by the untimely demise of noted singer Krishnakumar Kunnath popularly known as KK. His songs reflected a wide range of emotions as struck a chord with people of all age groups. We will always remember him through his songs. Condolences to his family and fans. Om Shanti," he wrote.
