With the ongoing tensions between India & China after the Galwan Valley incident and also the boycott china protest all over india and social media too, Government of India has decided to ban 59 Chinese apps. Which includes popular apps like Tik Tok, Xender, Shareit, UC Browser, Mobile Legends, etc.



Meanwhile TIK TOK was removed from the Apple's app store and Google Play Store.

ANI tweeted "TIK TOK removed from Apple's App Store & Google Play Store. Government of India yesterday banned 59 apps "which are prejudicial to sovereignty and integrity of India, defence of India, security of the state and public order”.


TikTok had nearly 119 million active users in India and was among the top 10 apps on Google Play store and Apple App store.


Here are the List of 59 apps banned by Government of India "which are prejudicial to sovereignty and integrity of India, defence of India, security of state and public order”. Stated in a press release on Monday.
